Easy Bok Choy Beef Stir Fry


We really enjoy stir fry meals! 
This is another meal that takes minutes to prep and cooks with minimal supervision!

I used to make this stovetop and now use my Pressure Cooker to make this same dish. 
I've included cooking directions for both. 

Once the sauce has thickened to your satisfaction serve over rice!

Stove Top & Pressure Cooker Conversion Included!

Ingredients

Stovetop
  • Beef Stew Meat, sliced thin
  • 3 Baby Bok Choy, chopped (or as desired)
  • 1/2 yellow onion, chopped
  • 2tbsp garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Garlic Powder, Black Pepper to taste
  • Pinch of garlic salt
  • 4-6 pieces of ginger root, whole slices
  • 1/2tbsp olive oil
  • Corn starch
Pressure Cooker
  • Same as above except use-
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups water

Instructions

Stove Top
  1. Sautee onions and garlic in oil until golden.
  2. Once onions and garlic are cooked, add whole sliced ginger and garlic powder. Let simmer.
  3. Add other seasoning to taste and stir in meat. Cook until meat is browned.
  4. Stir in soy sauce, water, and bok choy.
  5. Simmer until meat and veggies are tender.
  6. Mix corn starch with water and add to sauce to thicken.
  7. Once the sauce has thickened to your satisfaction serve over rice!
Pressure Cooker
  1. Follow steps 1-2, cubing beef to approximately 1in each
  2. Pour in soy sauce, water, and season to taste.
  3. Add meat and bok choy.
  4. Cover and cook using the Stew Setting for 30mins.
  5. Once cook time is complete and pressure is released, remove the lid and using the Sautee setting, add corn starch to thicken sauce.
  6. Once the sauce has thickened to your satisfaction serve over rice!
