The website touts a highly pigmented formula that lasts for hours which is creamy and smooth for easy application as well as derived from kaolin that helps to give a luxurious matte look and feel without drying out the lips. I also received a lip liner in the shade plum

First of all, I absolutely adore the company's mission. I love that women can buy something they use everyday... MAKEUP and make a difference at the same time. SSChic Boutique has partnered with Care, Operation USA, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Charity:Water, and the Cancer Research Institute to name a few. The actual liquid lipsticks show a "Shopping Bonus" that states that proceeds from this collection go towards fighting hunger.
The packaging itself is very sleek and simple. The applicator is a doe foot with a black cap and the product receptacle is clear so you can see easily see the shade of the product. As the website claims, the formula is actually very creamy and smooth. Each liquid lipstick also has a very light yet pleasant scent.
The website suggests exfoliation and then moisture prior to application, but states to apply the product to bare dry lips. Upon application, the formula in conjunction with the applicator did make the product very easy to apply. The lipstick went on wet and very opaque without streaks, but dried down after a few mins to a complete matte. Best part is one application definitely did the job and the lipstick stayed on ALL DAY LONG! I wore it for over 10 hours and the color was still there!
