Liquid lipsticks can range from $5-$22 each. These liquid mattes are priced at $8.00 which is on the affordable end of the spectrum when it comes to this type of product.
The liquid matte lip color comes in a very sleek silver, black, and clear packaging with a faux lipstick bullet to show the product color as well as a doe applicator housed inside. The liquid matte lip color has 10 shades in the range including a variety of nudes, pinks, reds and berry tones. I received the colors Nearly Nude, Very Cherry, and Red Rush. The lip swatches on the right are close ups of the color on my lips. Upon application, the formula itself was a mousse like texture and very easy to apply. It did not go on streaky or tug at the lips. All of the colors are very opaque, but I found with my skintone I needed to apply multiple layers with some of the colors. With Nearly Nude and Very Cherry I applied two layers so the color would show up more while only one layer was needed for Red Rush. The formula dried down rather quickly from the initial wet look upon application to matte in less than a minute. Once dried, my lips felt soft unlike other liquid lip formula's on the market that feel dry.
Glosses available in tube packaging can range anywhere from $1-27.
The lip gloss comes in a traditional tube with a screw top. It has a built-in, angled applicator for easy application that product is delivered out of by a squeezing motion. When applying the formula was clear and immediately begins changing color after applied to the lips. The texture is very smooth, not sticky, and immediately feels hydrating.
Both the gloss and liquid lippies had very long wear times and did not feel drying at all. Overall, I think the products are very interesting and unique. I absolutely love the formula and especially the price! Definitely a fan and can't wait to try out some other products from the line!
