Whether you are preparing for the new school year or restocking supplies for your office, I had to reshare this information before we all begin shopping!
Our local news report said that there were a number of school supplies that had traces of toxic chemicals in them that are commonly sold at one of my favorite places... Dollar Tree.
I know this news report is from a few years ago, but it's definitely worth checking out so you can avoid buying these items (3 ring binders had traces of phthalates and Playskool Brand Crayons had traces of asbestos to name a few). I highly recommend grabbing these items from Walmart, Walgreens, Target, or Staples instead who all are having great sales that are often a better deal anyway.
